From January 2003 to June 2009, Feng was involved in the whole process of the market development  and commercial operation of the Beijing Olympic Games and served as the Director and Deputy Minister of Department of Contract Management and Brand Protection of Marketing Department of Beijing Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (BOCOG), in charge of the contract negotiation and operation of market development work including the sponsorship, licensed merchandising, ticket business, as well as the brand protection of the Beijing Olympic Games.

From January 2011 to August 2014, Feng was involved in the whole process of the market development and commercial operation of the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games. As the Deputy Minister and Distinguished Expert of Marketing Department of Nanjing Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee (NYOGOC), he was responsible for the contract negotiation and operation of the market development work including the sponsorship, licensed merchandising and ticket business, as well as the brand protection.

Gina Durham

Gina Durham litigates trademark, copyright, trade-dress, false advertising and right of publicity cases in multiple districts throughout the country. She has litigated cases in federal courts for clients such as Nike, The Estate of Marilyn Monroe, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, and Harley Davidson.

Gina has led brand protection efforts for some of the most well-known companies in the world, including trying one of the first cases to go to trial under the amended Federal Trademark Dilution Act. Cynthia has over 15 years’ experience representing institutional clients. Cynthia is an experienced corporate/commercial lawyer with finance experience with specialization in the energy, financial and infrastructure sectors. An economics and business graduate, Cynthia’s early career as an Analyst at PriceWaterHouse Coopers has strengthened her ability to provide clients with commercially sound legal advice.

I advise the widest range of sports bodies, from international and national governing bodies to leagues, clubs, and their commercial partners on matters including broadcasting and sponsorship rights, challenges to regulatory decisions, commercial disputes, and regulatory and disciplinary issues including match-sanctioning, match-fixing and doping.

I am an experienced advocate, appearing regularly before the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, as well as a range of internal sports tribunals. I was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2017.

In 2016, I chaired the World Anti-Doping Agency’s Independent Observer team at the Rio Olympics

Since 2017, I have chaired WADA’s Compliance Review Committee, an independent Standing Committee that reports to WADA’s ExCo and Foundation Board on issues relating to Code compliance by Signatories.

Alongside my practice, I am co-editor (with Adam Lewis QC) of the leading UK sports law text, Sport: Law and Practice (3rd Edition 2014). I was also a tutor at University College, Oxford (Tort Law and Administrative Law) in 1992/93 and Director of Studies in Sports Law at King’s College, London from 2000 to 2007.

I hold both UK and US law degrees and originally qualified and practised as a commercial lawyer in New York before moving back to the UK in 1997. Since that time I’ve focused exclusively on advising sports clients.
