His Firm provides advisory, due diligence, and litigation services in real estate transactions and property concerns.  Its services likewise cover the preparation and review of contracts, agreements, and instruments relating to the purchase and acquisition of real properties, including purchases made by foreign nationals when allowed by law. It also engages in negotiations with property developers or parties to a real estate transaction, deal with rescission and nullification of contracts, as well as pursue claims under the Maceda Law and other relevant legislation.

Its years of experience allow it to address its client’s concerns effectively and facilitate a cost-efficient and successful accomplishment of their objectives.  The Firm’s lawyers, associates, paralegals, interns, and support staff are trained, skilled in their line of work, and dedicated to their craft.   Embedded in the Firm’s culture is the genuine concern for the client’s cause. Thus, the Firm renders tailor fit solutions to respond to the client’s specific needs. Given the pandemic and its impact on people’s finances, the Firm also understands the need for reasonable and flexible rates while maintaining the quality of service that it provides.

Prior to establishing the Firm, Atty. Rainier Mamangun was a lawyer for the Philippines’ Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) where he worked on cases involving migrant workers and overseas Filipinos in conjunction with the Office for Migrant Workers Affairs and the concerned Embassies and Consulates.

Atty. Mamangun’s adeptness at handling cases in and out of court could be attributed to his stint at the DFA where he honed his diplomatic skills that now prove crucial in his dealings with the courts and the opposition.

His skills at legal drafting and the defense of existing legislation were also developed through years of service at the DFA and in appearances at Congressional hearings and various inter-agency meetings that dealt with law and policy formulation relating to the welfare of Filipinos overseas.  He had, for instance, defended the constitutionality of the “Migrant Workers’ Act” before the Court of Appeals in coordination with the Office of the Solicitor General.  He was also part of the Drafting Committee for the Magna Carta for Seafarers, a bill intended to promote the welfare of millions of Filipino seafarers worldwide.

While at the DFA, he was also instrumental in the rescue of countless victims of human smuggling and trafficking in Asia and in saving Filipinos on death row in the Middle East.  For these purposes, he spearheaded various legal missions to Malaysia, Indonesia, East Timor, Nepal, India and Saudi Arabia to protect of the interests of the Overseas Filipino Worker; undertook diplomatic representations with foreign governments; and also appeared before foreign courts.

He also briefly worked at the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).

For several years, he was a Legal Consultant to the National Federation of Labor Unions (NAFLU), previously one of the biggest labor federations in the Philippines.

He graduated from the University of the Philippines with a degree in Political Science and is a member of the Fraternal Order of Utopia based in Ateneo Law.
