David is the Global Deputy Chief Executive of Deloitte. He serves on the Global Executive and leads the Global Client and Business Executive, which oversees, sets strategy, and serves as the decision making body for overall Deloitte Client and Business matters.

In addition to providing the leadership, management, and vision for the firm’s Client and Business organisations, David also oversees Deloitte’s Alliances, Ecosystems and Assets, Bold Plays, and Corporate Development strategy.

His career with Deloitte and predecessor firms has spanned over 30 years. In addition to serving as Chief Executive of Deloitte UK and Deloitte North West Europe for eight years, he has led some of the firm’s key business areas, including Tax, Consulting and Advisory Services.

David continues to spend a significant proportion of his time leading client relationships and engaging with a broad cross-section of alliance partners and other stakeholders.

Ben is a Chartered Accountant with more than 30 years’ experience in the financial services sector having commenced his career in Kleinwort Benson’s Private Client Trust Department in 1982.

Apart from a broad career in Private Client firms where Ben worked for both the Offshore Trust Companies of Deloitte and Ernst & Young, Ben has a particular expertise in the area of compensation and benefit planning for private and publicly owned businesses.

Ben gained much of his technical expertise whilst working for both Deloitte and Ernst & Young’s National Tax groups both in the United Kingdom and United States, where Ben also covered structuring matters for Ultra High Net Worth clients utilising both onshore and offshore Trust and Corporate structures.

Ben Cooke is a graduate of Leeds University, a Member of the Trust and Estates Planning Institute and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Ben is a keen sportsman and takes part in various long distance cycling and other sporting events in Europe.
