NRC Health is pleased to announce Conrad Shiu and Nathan Netz as recipients of the 2018 Rising Stars Scholarship. In partnership with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL), the annual scholarship celebrates, rewards, and encourages students with an interest in business development, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Each recipient received $2,000 to be applied toward their tuition and fees during the spring 2019 semester. The scholarship program began in 2011.
Conrad and Nathan will be recognised and awarded the scholarship at a dinner hosted by NRC Health on Wednesday, December 5, at Misty’s Steakhouse in downtown Lincoln. NRC leadership will attend the event along with the recipient’s guests. Conrad and Nathan’s names will be displayed on the Rising Stars Scholarship plaque located in the Sales Center for Excellence at the College of Business (CoB).
Conrad is a senior Accounting and Marketing major and a member of the CoB’s Business Honors Academy and Center for Sales Excellence. He is a Founder of Builer Advisory, the world’s first workplace consultancy run by students.
Nathan is a junior Finance and Marketing major and a member of the CoB’s Center for Sales Excellence. He has held several leadership positions in Farmhouse Fraternity and aspires to transform his family farm by delving into a new agricultural market.
NRC Health actively pursues students from UNL to join the organisation as interns. For more information on internship and career opportunities, contact [email protected]
