He did a lot of consultancies in the area of media and mass communication law, legislative drafting, Intellectual property law and real estate law.

Peter previously worked for Kampala University as its Legal and Public Relations Manager wherein he advised the University on all legal matters affecting it, served as a member of the University Council; represented the University in courts of law and supervised external advocates. He also worked as a Senior Principal Editor of parliamentary Hansards with Parliament of the Republic of Uganda.
