Nchima is a senior legal practitioner enjoying the rank and dignity of State Counsel. He was admitted to the bar in 1987 and is an experienced Advocate who holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Zambia. He has extensive experience in litigation and perfecting of bank securities. Nchima has specialised in all aspects of Corporate Law. He is an active member of the Institute of Directors and has been involved in the promotion of integrity among the professionals in the private and public sector.

Nchima Nchito previously served as Legal Counsel and Deputy Company Secretary in Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines (ZCCM) the former mining conglomerate. He has extensive experience in dealing with local and international contract negotiations and agreements involving among other international financial and trading institutions and was the lead lawyer in the listing of ZCCM shares on the Lusaka Stock Exchange.
