He is the founder of the firm. He has worked as a magistrate since 1997, then as director of a United Nations Project on Support to Justice and Human Rights. He has also worked as a consultant for several UN agencies and international consulting firms.

MZE Azad holds a diploma from the National School of Magistrates of Bordeaux, a Master 2 Research in Comparative Public Law from the University of Perpignan.
