Isaac Emmil Osei-Bonsu Jnr. is a seasoned legal practitioner with over twenty five years of working experience in Ghana. He is an alumnus of Achimota Secondary and the University of Ghana, Legon where he read Law, Philosophy and Political Science. He graduated in Law with honors in 1994 and subsequently enrolled at the Ghana Law School for the two-year professional law course which he successfully completed in 1996. He was thereafter admitted to the Bar. He holds an Executive Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). He is currently the Senior Partner at Minkah-Premo & Co, one of the leading law firms in the country and lectures at the firm’s training arm, the Law Institute on Credit Creation and Securitization. Isaac is the consummate expert in corporate governance and serves as a director for several companies such as Best Point Savings & Loans Limited, Gateway Services Limited and Tata Africa Holdings Ghana Limited to name a few.

Regarded as one of the country’s experts in Company and Real Estate Law as well as Credit Creation and Debt Recovery, Isaac specializes in the setting up and structuring of international businesses in Ghana and also provides transaction advisory services for both local and foreign clients including some of the country’s strongest local entities and foremost multinationals involved in varied sectors of the economy. Minkah-Premo & Co was established out of the need for an improvement in the justice delivery system. The system was plagued with low standards, snail-paced results and unsatisfactory conditions in which lawyers had to work, culminating in client dissatisfaction with the entire judicial process and precipitating the need for the firm to be set up to improve the justice delivery experience for our clients.

It was the desire and vision to commence and achieve positive change from this that compelled Mr. Justice Kusi-rooth Premo, a lawyer called to the Ghana Bar in 1984, to set up Minkah-Premo & Co., after stints with the State Insurance Corporation, Kwaku Baah & Co. and Kokroko Chambers. In all three places, lessons in the direction of law practice, service delivery and worker relations were learnt.

Some of the weaknesses which cried for attention were poor emolument, poor infrastructure and poor worker relations.
