Commenced his career in the Marine Surveying industry in 1998, training and working with acknowledged leaders in their field. As his experience grew, Dave became increasingly involved in Project Cargo and Heavy Lift surveys and this is his area of expertise.

Shortly after forming DS Oram & Associates cc, Dave was invited to join a team of specialists to assess the feasibility of loading, discharge and movement to site of heavy super-loads moving through the port of Durban.
