Professional Biography:

Clotilde Iaia Polak focuses on Corporate and Commercial Law, Corporate Governance, Intellectual Property Law and Real Estate Law. She is a corporate and commercial lawyer with extensive experience in the fields of intellectual property as well as real estate, she is currently the Managing Partner of Yungo Legal overlooking all aspects of the firm and its international network.

Clotilde is an Italian qualified lawyer and has been practicing law in the United Arab Emirates since 2004. Before setting up Yungo, she worked as a Consultant at Taylor Wessing and, prior to that, she was a Partner at Eversheds KSLG (now Eversheds Sutherland) in Dubai.

Clotilde obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Law defending a multidisciplinary thesis on “The Producer’s Liability for damages created by GMO products” and a Master’s Degree in Corporate, Commercial and Banking Law in Arab Countries from the University of Bologna. Clotilde master’s thesis focused on “The Free Zones of the United Arab Emirates”. She regularly publishes articles on various matters on specialized legal publications and web-sites and is often invited to speak at conferences and workshops in Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
