Bagus is a founding partner of Bagus Enrico & Partners. He has more than 25 years of advisory works, spanning in multinationals and domestic cross-border transactions specialises in mergers and acquisitions, banking & finance, construction, energy & natural resources, strategic investment, and general corporate/commercial matters (including corporate restructuring, insolvency, employment, etc.) across various sectors of industries throughout Indonesia.

He has also acquired general and practical corporate, banking and finance experiences in various business cycles with some numerous experiences when he served as the In-House counsel at the Bank Central Asia. Further as the Senior Vice President at Bank Mizuho Indonesia and received several management awards for his significant contributions in supporting the business development activities during his time in Mizuho Bank. He was also appointed as an independent member of the Audit Committee and Risk Monitoring Committee of DBS Bank in 2012-2015.

Bagus is also known especially for his experience in reorganising roles and functions of legal department, setting up various standard legal documents for banking activities, and conducting various legal training programs. He acquired unique experience to support the process to set up new retail and commercial operation of Barclays Bank in Indonesia, including preparing all legal documents of banking products, procurement documents, legal policies, corporate governance, and the exit process of Barclays from the retail and commercial business in Indonesia.

Bagus graduated from Gadjah Mada University Indonesia, Faculty of Law in 1996 and subsequently received the Chevening Scholarship Award from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (British Government) to undertake the postgraduate program in International Business Law (LLM) from the University of Manchester, the United Kingdom (2005). He was also active as a student legal advisor at Manchester Legal Advice Centre managed by the University of Manchester and sponsored by Clifford Chance in association with the College of Law of England and Wales.

He also attended a Mini – MBA Program held by Mizuho Corporate Bank, Ltd in cooperation with Hitotsubashi University, Tokyo, Japan in 2009.

Bagus is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI) and is also a co-lecturer on the subjects of Company Law and International Commercial Contract Law at the Gadjah Mada University’s Faculty of Law.
