Dentons law firm acted as Ukrainian legal counsel to the European Federation of Energy Traders and provided a legal opinion on the enforceability of the EFET General Agreement concerning the delivery and acceptance of natural gas and its collateral arrangements.
The European Federation of Energy Traders is an association of European energy traders in markets for wholesale electricity and gas. EFET was founded in 1999 in response to the liberalisation of electricity and gas markets within the European Union.
EFET promotes competition, transparency and open access in the European energy sector. It currently represents more than 100 energy trading companies, active in over 27 European countries.
