Tatyana Lee

Tatyana Lee is an associate with White & Case Astana office. Being trained in U.S and European schools, she specializes primarily in cross-border transactions, investments, project finance, business organization/corporate law, M&A, contracts, and litigation. Tatyana has broad experience in due diligence and negotiations of project agreements in gas, petrochemical, textile, and cotton-processing projects. She represents leading airline and oil & gas companies, international financial institutions, engineering companies, and other transnational corporations from different parts of the world.

Prior to joining White & Case, Tatyana has worked for several international law firms in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

Sofia Shaykhrazieva

Sofia Shaykhrazieva is a partner and the firm-wide head of Centil’s banking and finance practice group. She has over 21 years’ legal experience, and focuses primarily on cross-border loan arrangements, bank acquisitions, aircraft leasing, sovereign guarantees and collateral. Her clients include international financial institutions, investment banks and consortia.

Prior to joining the Centil team, Sofia worked as a lawyer for the Tashkent office of a leading London-based international law firm. She has considerable experience in the banking and finance sectors, advising on a wide range of issues including lending operations, project finance deals, and equity acquisition projects relating to Uzbek commercial banks and companies. In addition to advising clients in Uzbekistan, Sofia has worked on projects across other jurisdictions including Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.

Sofia is a graduate of the University of Oxford, and is recognised as a “Band 1” lawyer by Chambers Global, Legal 500 and Who’s Who: Legal CIS.
