Martin has been a partner in the firm (including PKF) since 2000 and is Lead Partner for BDO in Scotland. He has over 20 years’ experience of auditing and advising a wide range of clients across many sectors ranging from plcs, large groups and owner-managed businesses to not for profit entities and professional bodies.  Martin leads the BDO Charities Group in Scotland and also has significant experience in the Healthcare sector, acting for leading clients in these sectors.  In addition to his role as an audit partner, he has carried out a number of advisory assignments including governance reviews, facilitating risk workshops and treasury management reviews. As Managing Partner and head of the Divorce and Family Law team at Turcan Connell, Gillian brings extensive experience to the firm. Gillian is accredited as a specialist in Family Law by The Law Society of Scotland with a particular expertise in complex high net worth cases involving professionals, entrepreneurs, farmers, land and estate owners and those in the public domain, who require a highly proactive approach to sensitive and private matters.

Gillian is dual qualified as a solicitor in Scotland, and in England and Wales, and is a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers. She is frequently instructed in cross border and international cases, particularly so in relation to asset protection, including pre and post nuptial agreements and cohabitation, disputes regarding children, and in respect of jurisdiction for financial claims.
