Fion is actively involved in:

Soh Kar Liang

Soh Kar Liang is a graduate of the National University of Singapore. He practices intellectual property and information technology law. He has represented, guided and supported key client accounts from diverse fields ranging from high-tech microprocessors to consumer food and beverage industries in both contentious and non-contentious matters along the IP value chain.

As the first Singaporean appointed as a domain name panellist by the World Intellectual Property Organisation, Soh Kar Liang regularly adjudicates on domain name disputes under the Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy. He is also a domain name panellist of the Regional Arbitration Centre of Kuala Lumpur and a principal mediator of the Singapore Mediation Centre.

Soh Kar Liang is an active participant of various local and foreign professional and business organisations, including serving as Vice President of the ASEAN Intellectual Property Association, past President of the Singapore Group of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association and honorary advisor of the Chinatown Business Association. He also contributes regularly to professional publications on intellectual property and information technology subjects and is frequently invited to speak on topics in these fields both locally and regionally at conferences, seminars, workshops and expert panels.

Patrick Chew

Established in 1977, Morison Anuarul Azizan Chew (Morison AAC) is a Chartered Accountancy and Business Advisory practice based in Kuala Lumpur and an independent member of Morison International, an international association of independent firms of professional accountants and business advisors.

Khairuzzaman Muhammad

KHAIRUZZAMAN MUHAMMAD is a partner in the Projects and Corporate Advisory practice group since January 2005. He was awarded a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree in 1988 from the Essex Institute of Higher Education (now known as the Anglia Ruskin University), in the United Kingdom, and was enrolled as a Barrister-at-Law of Lincoln’s Inn in 1989. He was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 1990, and commenced his career specialising in all aspects of commercial litigation, principally in areas of banking law, corporate law, administrative law and constitutional law. In the course of his litigation career, Khairuzzaman was involved in several landmark cases before the Malaysian Courts, right up to the Federal Court level, dealing with legal issues pertaining to judicial review, banking law, company law and constitutional law.

In May 2000, Khairuzzaman was awarded a Graduate Diploma in Commercial Law from the University of Sydney, Australia. Since then, he has been actively involved in advising government agencies and companies, corporations, as well as financial institutions on issues relating to corporate and shareholders related matters, debt-financing issues, contractual disputes, joint-ventures, financing, land development projects and modern corporate governance. Khairuzzaman was involved in the drafting of the East Coast Economic Region Development Council Act 2008 as well as several other Federal and State legislations. Recently, Khairuzzaman advised a major Japanese energy company in the setting up of its business in Malaysia and had also led the legal team advising on the various legal issues relating to the restructuring of Malaysian Airlines (MAS) and the acquisition of its assets by the new airline, Malaysian Airlines Berhad. He also co-heads the team that renders construction advice for the Petronas mega-petro chemical project in Pengerang, Johore. This complex is the largest petro-chemical plant in South-East Asia. He also advises the Federal and State Governments on various policy matters leading to drafting of legislation’s.

He retired as the most Senior Director of SME Bank Berhad, a development financial institution wholly owned by the Ministry of Finance, Malaysia that is mandated to nurture, develop and finance SMEs in Malaysia in 2019, and was also an Independent Non-Executive Director of MIMOS, the advanced technology research and development centre set up by the Government of Malaysia. He currently sits on the Boards of several private companies.
