Daniel Radic

After graduating from the University of Zagreb, Daniel Radic joined KPMG London in 1995 where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1998. After spending his first three years in London with KPMG’s Manufacturing, Retail and Distribution division, he transferred to the financial sector practice, also in London, where he was involved in a number of projects in co-operation with the Corporate Finance and Management Consulting practices. Daniel had been with KPMG Croatia in 2000 and has experience in numerous advisory projects in various industries in Croatia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Hungary, Macedonia, Montenegro, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia. Daniel is currently the partner responsible for all the services provided by KPMG Deal Advisory practice in Croatia. Daniel’s experience includes, inter alia, valuation, due diligence and valuation of merger synergies, as well as comprehensive advice on structuring transactions from an accounting, financial and tax perspective, advisory and support on entry into the Croatian market and investment restructuring. Daniel has extensive experience in M​​&A transactions, where his experience has included providing full sell-side support to the Croatian Government in the process of selling a majority share during the privatisation of Croatia Osiguranje, the largest insurance company in Croatia, and many others. He has also led numerous independent business review and restructuring projects in various sectors. Daniel is currently the partner responsible for the Deal Advisory practice in Croatia and Bosnia Herzegovina, which he started in 2003. Daniel was the National Senior Partner of KPMG in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina from July 2014 until October 2017. Daniel has been the Head of private Equity for KPMG in Central and Eastern Europe since 2007. Currently he is also Head of Deal Advisory for KPMG in Central and Eastern Europe.

Dubravko Mar

Attorney-partner. Graduated from the Faculty of Law in Zagreb in 1999. Listed in the list of attorneys since 2002, while from 2009 has operated an independent office until the founding of the current law firm. Post-graduate studies at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb – MBA business management. Actively speaks and writes English, French and Slovenian, and has a passive knowledge of German.

Mladen Vukmir

After completing the law education at Zagreb University Law School, Mladen obtained Master of Intellectual Property degree at Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord, NH, USA. He spent two years as a trainee and one year as an associate at Hanzekovic Radakovic Law Offices in Zagreb. He was a visiting lawyer at: Fenwick & West in Palo Alto, CA, USA; Monahan Duhot in Paris, France and Pavia e Ansaldo in Milan, Italy. In 1991 he founded VUKMIR & ASSOCIATES. In 1992 he acted as an expert adviser to the Croatian State Intellectual Property Office Zagreb, at the time of its founding. Subsequently he was appointed a patent and trademark agent, admitted to practice before the CSIPO and European Patent Office. He has been appointed by the Government of the Republic of Croatia to serve as a member of the Board of Appeals for Patents and Topographies. He advised on preparations for the Manual on Technology Transfer at UNIDO. Mladen is a member AIPPI, IBA, ITechLaw, GALA, INTA, LES, UIA.

Mladen wrote numerous articles and lectured on various topics on intellectual property, including regular teaching as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Law graduate and postgraduate courses. He is an arbitrator on the Panel of domestic disputes at the Permanent Arbitration Court at the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, panelist on the UDRP Domain Name Panel at WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center, a distinguished neutral on the CPR Panels of Neutrals and at the INTA PON and is an IMI certified mediator.

Mladen also served as a consultant to various domestic and international organizations such as the Croatian Government (Ministry of Science and Technology), World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) the World Bank and the European Commission (CARDS 2002 and IPA 2009 programs) and GLG Council. He is the Royal Danish Consul General (Hon.) in Zagreb (decorated, Knight of the Order of Dannebrog)
