Women’s advances in the world are reflected at BMA: today, 53% of our members are women. Of our partners, 42% are women, who actively participate in the firm’s strategic decision-making. Progress is being made, but gender equality is an issue that needs to be better understood. That’s why we created BMA Women, a program designed to support professional development of the women at our firm and retain talent.
Brazilian society presents many challenges, and we know we have a role to play in promoting inclusion and diversity. Equality of race, gender and sexual orientation, respect for all religions, and accommodation of persons with disabilities are everyday values at BMA. Training for our professionals and concern for their wellbeing is an important tool to ensure excellence in our services. We also know that we have to think of the future of the planet, and that volunteer work makes a difference.
